Gesture Recognition and Control – Automotive Applications

Gesture recognition and time of flight (ToF) systems like 3D imaging applications require maximum transmission in the range of the illumination wavelength (Laser or LED source) for a wide field of view. Adjacent to the pass range, an extraordinary deep blocking is required eliminating the ambient light to achieve a better contrast. Filters sizes and spectral requirements can be customized and combined with B-stage epoxy or solderable coating frames for optional sealing and protection of the sensor.
