UV Curing

Light-curing adhesives have become indispensable in manufacturing processes. Light-sensitive adhesives need the right light spectrum to be fully cured. Due to the narrow spectral bandwidth (LED approx. 10 nm) it is important that the wavelength of the UV source matches the absorption spectra of the adhesive. Materion Balzers Optics develops and manufactures spectrally optimized dielectric filters, which offer a reliable solution for both the spectral range and the possible performance parameters of the light sources.
